Technical Support Technician role based in the City centre of Dublin with a leading organisation. The company work to a high volume ticket based support system supporting hundreds of staff on this system offers timely and well managed support solutions to its users. Coupled with its excellent location and warm culture it is one that can’t be rivalled.
 
Key skills for this role are:

  • The successful candidate must have the ability to perform user account management, backup and recovery actions on various platforms
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an IT Support role, highlighting experience in ticketing systems, such as Request Tracker or JIRA.
  • They should be familiar with PC and laptop maintenance, along with mobile device management and configuration.
  • Excellent customer service skills to deal with typical IT support role, you need to be calm and good at problem solving providing solutions to the users with issues.
  • A clear understanding of network topologies and common network protocols and services such as DNS, HTTP, SSH, SMTP, DHCP and a related qualification in computing would be a distinct advantage.

 And in return a Technical Support Technician would receive:

- Active Directory
- Citrix
- Patching (IBM BigFix)
- DevOps experience would be an advantage

The day rate is competitive ranging from €300-€400 DOE.

A client of ours has asked us to engage with potential candidates for an in-house deskside support role, supporting 60 users.

 

Our client is a large aircraft leasing company is based in Stephens Green whose head office is in Hong Kong. The role carries a 38-40K salary, with benefits, and would suit someone who had a deskside support role previously in a medium-large organisation. Approx. 2  - 3 years’ experience will suffice and Microsoft Certification would be desirable.

Job Title: Junior Repair Lab Technician

 

Job Description:

 

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in servicing and repairing PC based equipment, and working knowledge of computer hardware and software in an office environment. The individual although quite junior in his professional career must be professional in demeanour and dedicated to providing outstanding support and qualitative services.

 

The individual will:

  • Repair all equipment brought back from the field that could not be repaired by the Field Services
  • Control and maintain an inventory of all spare parts and the repair tools and infrastructure needed.
  • Ensure on time ordering of all spare parts
  • Provide immediate feedback on any parts observed mass failing.

 

Position Requirements

Skills / Industry Qualifications Required:

 

  • High School
  • A+ Certification or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment such as desktops, laptops and peripherals.
  • Basic network troubleshooting experience that includes cabling.
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience working with electronic equipment.
  • Able to operate current Linux/Microsoft operating systems and office products.
  • Able to work shifts if needed.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds.

Salary: 25.000
